While no medical testing should be considered routine, MedLab boasts a highly trained staff that is capable of accurate, professional service from the most basic of tests to the most sensitive, technical procedures. Tests are repeated without charge whenever, in the physician’s opinion, the results do not correlate with the patient’s clinical profile. Flexible specimen-pick up time and reporting options are available to meet your needs. Initial laboratory results are available within 12 to 24 hours of specimen collection via fax or electronic transmission.

Phlebotomy

• Over seven highly qualified phlebotomists are on Medlab Inc’s staff to assure every patient a comfortable experience when drawing their blood for diagnostic purposes. Our well organized resources allow Medlab Inc to reliably service our patient service centers and to consistently meet or exceed the expectations of our clients (our superior performance has helped Medlab Inc become a favored service provider to Visiting Nurse Service (VNS) in Dupage and Cook County).

Courier Service
Medlab guarantees specimen integrity by ensuring the efficient retrieval of patient specimens. Medlab uses Vendors Utilizing state-of-the-art sample tracking systems Medlab Medical Laboratory is capable of scheduling pickup and delivery to accommodate virtually any pickup requirements.

Patient Care
Medlab’s qualified and compassionate staff is ready to meet the needs of home-bound patients. Our team of phlebotomists, supervised by experienced managers, has the resources to serve the broadest range of client needs. Each phlebotomist is equipped with a Cellphone so they can be located and dispatched on a moments notice if necessary. All of our phlebotomists have performed a minimum of 500 venipunctures.

Patient Service Centers (PSC)
To better serve our physicians and their patients, Medlab Inc Medical Laboratory operates blood drawing facilities at North Chicago location. There is little or no wait time when you visit our facility in Chicago for blood draws.

Client Services
Medlab Inc’s Client Services department is operated by a team of professionals, and led by a dedicated supervisor with more than twenty-years in the client services field. The department is fully operational 10 hours a day, 5 days a week.
